After a series of terrible events my old webcomic Enker's Tale went offline and the backups were lost. Usually that's the end of a webcomic, but in this instance readers united to send me pages they'd got stored on their own computers. This book of almost 400 pages contains almost the full comics run in trade paperback format for easy reading and can be found online at my Devart account here:
An OCT (Original Character Tournament)/ OCL (Original Character League) is when people make a character(s) and have them battle or interact with other peoples characters, in any form of artistic medium, so that could be a comic or a story.
An OCT is often quite competitive, with a tournament/ladder structure.
An OCL is a more freeform way of doing this where an artist asks another artist if they would like to have their OC's interact or battle. (Kind of like a pokemon battle c:)
It is real - however currently the OLD Knave cardgame artwork is still up at www.knavecomic.com the new art will be launched with the new site under different hosting (same address). The rules however are unchanged and the cards are complete redraws of the existing 500 made.
Sure - It's quite simple really, lots of people take away the resources and all put together maps of their own varying in size and scale, etc depending on what they enjoy or feel like doing. These then get pieced together as they come back to me into a huge map (I may have to fill in empty spaces to better connect areas, but the grid structure makes it pretty simple). The final map will be a huge worldmap as if it were a game like Zelda or Pokemon and I'll hold later comps for people to turn that map into a game, etc.
